A bit late, but have to comment on a pioneer. Like them or not The Beastie Boys have had a huge impact on modern music. Adam Yauch was a huge talent and will be missed greatly.

My second born son, used to scotch his little bum to the bed when we put on Beastie Boys, To Intergalactic he learned to pull himself up to a stand at the bedside, just so he could bounce and wiggle that tushy to the beat! Thanks~
First music my boys were into was beastie boys. Guess they were 8 or so.
I was fortunate enough to see MCA and the crew preform live right around when Intergalactic was getting huge. Good times.
Never saw them, wished I had.
