Some Newfoundland content for Kayjai and Sightsnbytes to enjoy. Amelia Curran is a unique talent and this song is, well, fitting for an extreme east coast artist. And a live version that is very enjoyable. Sounds very much like a female Leonard Cohen. Thanks again to CBC2 radio, a superb source of everything Canadian.
I enjoy travel, sports, music and anything else that jumps up at me for the moment, which is why I blog. There will be lots of travel posts, pictures and our videos as well as a smattering of sports and humor. I enjoy promoting Canada and am unabashedly a proud Albertan

Music scene here is brutal. Some diamonds but mostly rough and no venues that dedicate themselves to music. Strange for a place rated 5 in the world for best city to live in.
I’ve heard them, good band and I have a huge soft spot for British groups (and Canadian ones too). Live music in airports. wow. Been in a lot of airports and can’t say I’ve seen that before
Used to be a faithful Austin city limits watcher. Have to get down there someday. Been to Houston once and that was just a short layover on our way to new Orleans
A female Leonard Cohen – I like that idea.
Hi Rose. You got caught in my spam filter. Good tune
Nice and laid back.
Like Leonard Cohen, very laid back
It is like gin and tonic…..
I love a new artist. That is the nice part of living in the music capitol of the world. Great find. 🙂
i know you don’t live in Calgary then.. lol
Indeed I do not 😉

Here we have live music everywhere. Even at the airport. We have good stuff and crap, but big names were discovered here.
What do you think of this band? Not me btw. I just was talking about them tonight. http://youtu.be/jEgX64n3T7g

I know. Austin has pride in being the Music Capitol of the world. Funny how we are.

You should come down for sxsw You would love it.
That should be a plan. Forgot that was around there, will have to look into that,
Nice tune! Bette voice than Leonard. Where’d you come across them?
Cbc2. Did I link to them? If not try them on the net. Play great stuff at times of the day. But if you like music it is a great station.
