Waterton Lakes, Alberta

Unfortunately, I wasn’t on this day trip (had to work), but Lori was, along with her brothers and Cec.  They caught Mama Bear and Baby Bear on the side of the road at Waterton Lake National Park.  Nice shot.

I enjoy travel, sports, music and anything else that jumps up at me for the moment, which is why I blog. There will be lots of travel posts, pictures and our videos as well as a smattering of sports and humor. I enjoy promoting Canada and am unabashedly a proud Albertan

  1. We live in Lethbridge so Waterton is 80 minutes of driving. Unlike Banff, which has Highway 1 ripped through the middle, Warerton is a dead end, so it tends to be a lot quieter. After living in Toronto for 13 years, soon after moving to Lethbridge we have adopted Waterton as our own personal playground. So please don’t let anyone else know how great it is. We don’t want any more people spoiling the view of the bears, deer, mountain sheep, moose, overweight squirrels and astounding eagles.
