I’d Have Left The Room Too!!!

A teacher’s story about

Stuttering

A teacher is explaining biology to her 4th grade students.
“Human beings are the only animals that stutter,’ she says

A little girl raises her hand. ‘I had a kitty-cat who stuttered.’

The teacher, knowing how precious some of these stories could become,
asked the girl to describe the incident.

“Well,” she began, ‘I was in the back yard with my kitty
and the Rottweiler that lives next door got a running start
and before we knew it, he jumped over the fence into our yard!’

‘That must’ve been scary,’ said the teacher.

‘It sure was,’ said the little girl.

‘My kitty raised her back, went “Ffffff!, Ffffff!, FfffffF,”
but before she could say ‘Fuck-off !,’ the Rottweiler ate her!

The teacher had to leave the room.

A Few Days In Lisbon

We landed in beautiful Lisbon, Portugal after our standard 14 hour flight from Calgary to pretty much anywhere.  As usual British Airways provided a great experience, a great airline.

Landing in Lisbon

Grabbed a cab at the Lisbon Portela Airport and headed to our B&B, Zuza B&B.  We booked this B&B back in March of 2012 and were very lucky to get a booking.  The place is a very highly rated place on Trip Advisor and well worth it.  The views off our balcony were spectacular, by day..

Lisbon by Day

or by night..

Lisbon by night

As usual on our arrival, we were pretty much exhausted.  We asked Luis (a terrific host) to point us in the direction of a close by restaurant where we could have some good food and settle in.  It wasn’t far.  We could see it off the balcony as a matter of fact.

The Buenos Aires Restaurant

The place is called Buenos Aires and it had some crazy salads.

And, as always, some liquid refreshments…

Just a quick post to prove we did get there.  Lots more to come over the next few weeks as we continue in Lisbon, set off to Sintra, then away to Seville, Cordoba, Toledo, Barcelona, Malaga and many other places.  Until next post, CHEERS.

I’ve pondered the blog over the past week and I have concluded that I have strayed a bit from what I originally wanted.  The intent was to spend the bulk of my time promoting Canadian music, new and old.  I think I have gotten lazy though and have taken the easy way out lol.  Lots of throw away posts, which obviously are fun to do when busy.  I now intend to get back to where I was going in the past, a Real Canadian Music Blog.  Thanks for listening.

Keep an eye out tomorrow for a review of an up and coming Canadian star, and his new album,

On Vacation

Blogging will be veeeerrrrrryyyy slow over the next few weeks.  On Vacation. May hit a post or two just to keep the rust off, but mostly, will be relaxing and catching up on some tunes.

Why Can’t i Post From The Dashboard

For some reason, posting from the dashboard does not work for me.  Has anyone else had this problem?

In reference to my previous post, we went south and are currently in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho heading towards Spokane, Washington, then somewhere else after that. Lots of fresh material to share beginning next week. In the meantime, I am officially on vacation. See you next week.

Friday Funnies – From The Emailbag

A friend of mine in Saskatchewan copied me in on this one.

Two older women were having lunch together,
and discussing the merits of cosmetic surgery.

The first woman said, “I need to be honest with you,
I’m getting a boob-job.”
The second woman responded, “Oh, that’s nothing.
I’m thinking of having my arsehole bleached!”
“Whoa,” replied the first woman.
“I just can’t picture your husband as a blonde!”

Blog Changes

To my friends and followers

You may have noticed that some of my posts lately have been reblogs from The Real Canadian Music Blog.  To explain, the original intent of Is It Possible To See It All,  was to relate our experiences in travel, tell some jokes, do some writing, spread some news, you know, the regular stuff.  Somehow, my love of music had pretty much taken over these pages.  This was not my intent, so I have taken the step of creating a second blog to feed this addiction and ease my guilt feelings about doing too much music and not enough other stuff on the original.  I hope that you will enjoy both blogs and continue to follow my postings.

Thanks

John
