  • Some Thursday Humour

Apparently, these were posted on an Australian Tourism Website and the answers are the actual responses by the website officials, who obviously have a great sense of humour (not to mention a low tolerance threshold for cretins!)  True or not, I wish I’d said a few of them. Q: Does it ever get windy in Australia?…

  • Remembering Darryl Cotton

Australian singer, actor and television personality Darryl Cotton passed away at 62 on July 27.  As I researched his career, I was amazed at the depth and connections he had.  He played with Rick Springfield, was involved with a group that morphed into the Little River Band, song-wrote for Donny and Marie Osmond, Olivia Newton-John,…

  • The Blue Tongues Win, The Blue Tongues Win!!!

I wrote a post yesterday in which I decided to follow the Australian Ice Hockey League. In said post (pretty good English eh?) I placed a poll to determine which team I would be following and would do some posts on that team and hopefully follow them all the way to a championship run. I…

  • NHL Season is Over, Now What

I know.  It is winter in the Southern Hemisphere, maybe we should track the Australian Ice Hockey League.  Yes, it exists.  I have the proof right here. http://www.theaihl.com/leagues/front_pageAIHL.cfm?leagueID=11464&clientID=3856&link=AIHL http://www.iha.org.au/view/iha Now all we have to do is pick a team to support.  I am thinking a poll would work.  If this is any kind of fun,…
