Canada may be the world’s foremost hockey power, and we prove it, even when we are playing for other teams around the world. The goal below is by an Israeli-Canadian, playing for Israel in Division 3 of the IIHF championships. I love this, during Israel’s 26-2 victory over Greece, Eliezer Sherbatov schooled the world with a beautiful goal. Israel won the Division 3 championship and has been promoted to the Division 2 group for 2012 with Belgium, China, Mexico, Bulgaria, South Africa. More info and story here.
