Canadians at the 2012 Grammy Awards – Update

 

 

Congratulations to the winners, and double congratulations to the Canadian contingent.

First, kudos to Deadmaus5 for rocking the tent out with the Foo Fighters.  May have been the most talked about performance of the night.

 

Melanie Fiona won 2 Grammys, along with Cee Lo Green for Fool For You.

Best Traditional R&B Performance – Fool For You – Cee Lo Green & Melanie Fiona

Best R&B Song – Fool for You

 

A third Grammy was won by Vincent Morisset for Best Recording Package – Scenes From The Suburbs – art director (Arcade Fire)

 

 

A 4th Grammy was won by Levon Helm.

Best Americana Album – Ramble At The Ryman

    1. No kidding, he was terrible. Was waiting on Adele, so kind of watched until Walking Dead was on. Did you see the Beach Boys? Foster the People did one of their tunes and were quite good.

      1. I read an interview with the front man of Foster the People in Rolling Stone and he said something disparaging about James Taylor – along the lines of He’s old, who cares about what he said – which totally turned me off. Which was easy because I don’t think Pumped Up Kicks is such a great song…
