Pretty scary stuff.  Bear shows up during a commercial shoot at Manning Park in BC.

Panorama – Last Day

View from very near the top. Good day again and I’ll stop complaining about the snow. Out of here in the morning. Bought some skis and doing Sunshine on the 28th. See you soon.

Panorama Christmas Eve

Snow petered out overnight. All of 3 cm. Not all that great. Got a few runs in. Fell a few times at low speed Still, beats working. Our for supper. Terrific evening with Lori and our sons.

Panorama – The Second Day

Started the day with a very wee bit of new snow and a ton of fog up high. The lower runs basically suck, unless you like skating more than skiing. Did find some decent runs off the Toby lift. Late start so only got 6 or 7 runs in. Took a couple of pics

Hard to argue with a view like this out the room’s window.

New Denver, BC – Slocan Lake

A shot of the view of Slocan Lake at New Denver, British Columbia. Drove down to this area from Revelstoke on August 4. Beautiful drive with lots of terrific scenery.

You Never Know What You’ll See

In summer of 2012, we were doing our “To Sail Or Not To Sail” explorations and stopped in Blind Bay, BC for lunch.  Nice resort town on a bay on Shuswap Lake.  A beautiful, hot summer day, enjoying a cold one and a burger and then a plane blows by.  Love BC.

We did see a sailboat there, pretty much the only one we saw all day.  We stopped at a marina and were told, sailboats don’t work on this lake as there is never any wind.  Scratch a beautiful lake.

Hello from Vancouver

Made it into beautiful Vancouver. That’s the good. The bad, gale force winds and our sail was cancelled. Here is a couple of shots. First the mountains as we landed. The second is a view of downtown from Granville Island.
