The Weekly Photo Challenge is titled Unique.  We were driving around in Winnipeg, Manitoba and noticed this in the sky.  A perfect X formed by 2 contrails. Thought it was cool, and had never seen it before, at least this defined.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Love

The challenge this week is love.  So much to think about.  I love travel, sailing, Lori, my sons, blogging, family.  After some heavy thought, I decided that the winning category is beer.  The photo that best describes beer is these shots I took in Bruges, Belgium.  Every beer brewed in Belgium, and it’s special glass, has been put on display in a liquor store in Bruges.  HMMMMMMM Beeeeeeerrrr!!!!!

Daily Prompt: Mix Tape

This postaday thing is kind of cool.  Saves a hell of a lot of thinking, and I don’t have to do it every day either.  This one is interesting.  The instructions are simple enough:

Put together a a musical playlist of songs that describe your life, including what you hope your future entails.

Not bad only a syntax error and a minor spelling mistake.

Sounds simple enough.  Let’s give er a go eh mates.

Describe my life, hmmmm, describe my life, let’s see, describe my life.  No many songs that I can think of that involve working sleeping and working, at least not many I like anyways.  Gawd, this is tougher than I thought.  Let’s try the future.    Ah that’s better.

Living in Calgary gives us ample opportunity to hit the Rocky mountains when the urge strikes us.  Banff is an hour from our front door and Lake Louise a little further down the highway.  This shot was taken in Lake Louise in late May, just as winter is loosening its grip on the lake.
